March 4, 2022
March is here! Did we ever think we would see the end of Winter? It has been a true blessing to have such beautiful weather this week. Have you seen the few daffodils peeping out ready to bloom in front of the school? Daffodils are the birth flower of March, acknowledging the first signs of Spring. They are cheerful and provide happiness in their beauty.
March brings us a new beginning and a start to a new season. We are thrilled at the opportunity for Spring to roll in at Folly Quarter. Many of our classes are taking advantage of the beautiful weather by engaging in activities outside.

Damaged Chromebooks - If a student has a damaged Chromebook, please have them bring the device to Mrs. Taylor in the media center. A repair request will be entered for the Chromebook. If the technology office finds the device has been damaged by the student and the family has a financial obligation, they will be notified by HCPSS. Most families will receive two emails. One will come from hcpss_notifications@hcpss.org alerting the family about the financial obligation. The second email will be an invoice sent from the My School Bucks website. Students will not be issued a replacement Chromebook until the invoice is paid.
Parents who have questions regarding the technical assessment are directed to contact DeviceDeployment@hcpss.org and if they have questions regarding the invoice, they can contact finance@hcpss.org. FQMS does not play a part in making decisions on these financial obligations or collecting payment.
